What a wonderful, beautiful place. My husband is celiac, vegetarian, and they have handmade pasta, gluten free with walnut sauce. He even received a gluten free bun. I had a steak, cooked perfectly with homemade chips. The staff was very kind and helpful. This was a great find. The history of the building made it even more enjoyable.

We stumbled upon this place after our planned restaurant was closed for Labor Day, and we were not disappointed! The care put into identifying allergens in the meals was so appreciated, as we were travelling with a family member who can’t eat gluten. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and are now so sad our visit into Genoa was only one day, as we’d love to return to try something else! Would highly recommend for both deliciousness and ambiance. 10 stars.

Lovely place, great service (the owner speaks only Italian but the message gets through and he has great waiters who help him out if there are any language barriers) gluten free menu and help if needed. We went twice in 2 days...

I absolutely loved the food here! Everything was so flavourful and perfectly prepared; I have no feedback on what they can improve upon. My Italian is very limited, but the server was very patient and kind. The restaurant itself is nice and cozy, making a great spot for a dinner date. Highly recommended!

Coeliac heaven! They have a seperate gluten free 'senza glutine' menu with lots of choice. I asked for gluten free bread when they brought out gluten bread for my family and they happily provided a soft white roll. For my main, I went for the Pansotti with Walnut Sauce because I am vegetarian, and it was mind-blowing! I have never had gluten free ravioli so it was an absolute treat to experience this! The walnut sauce was so delicious, a cheesy, nutty, creamy flavour and the pasta tasted amazing with a great texture. The portion size was generous - I was full but I couldn't leave with ordering a gluten free dessert haha! There were about 5 different gluten free dessert options, including gluten free tiramisu! I was SO happy! And it lived up to my hopes and expectations - a fantastic taste and texture. Can't recommend this restaraunt more to anyone looking for great gluten free food in Genoa. Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff, and a lovely setting.

Nice informal place with good ambiance. Friendly staff. Good simple food. The ravioli with meat and ragu and the beef fillet with gorgonzola sauce was good.

What a charming little Italian experience. We were so impressed, not only with the food, atmosphere and experience, but the lengths at which this little restaurant went to highlight and outline all of the common allergens in the dishes In our group, we had 2 people with food intolerances and had no problem choosing meals that were safe and delicious without having to ask a single question! Perfecto!
